We are committed to exceeding your expectations when you decide to spend time with us in worship. Our Sunday morning Celebration Worship Service begins at 10am. Come worship with us!

Ingrim B. Green

Ingrim B. Green is one of today’s most gifted communicators offering a clear, contemporary and creative teaching style that connects people with the life-changing principles of the Bible.

He believes church should be engaging and relevant, and strives to eliminate the barriers of boredom, unfriendliness, and fear that keep people from experiencing a relationship with Jesus Christ.

A native of Oakland California, Ingrim B. Green became Pastor of Discovery Chapel in 2015. Since he became Pastor, Discovery Chapel has become one of the most effective ministries in Batavia New York area providing worship, fellowship, and Bible study opportunities to people each week.

From the very beginning, Pastor Green’s goal has been to raise up a church that represents the Kingdom with excellence and profoundly impacts the local community and beyond. His greatest desire is to see that dream come to pass by helping each individual experience a genuine heart transformation through a real relationship with Jesus Christ.

Inspired to be a catalyst to help transform people’s lives with the love of Christ, Ingrim B. Green is deeply committed to encouraging each individual to reach their highest potential in Christ. He is determined to revolutionize as many lives as possible by focusing on building stronger families, transforming our local community through active participation, bridging the gap between cultures and generations, and impacting the world with the love and generosity of Christ.

Pastor Green holds a Bachelor Degree in Pastoral Studies from Patten University. He holds a Master’s Degree in Theology and a Graduate Teacher Diploma from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas. He plans to further his education by obtaining a doctorate degree in Ethics.

Mission

The Mission of Discovery Chapel is not our- it’s His. We exist to build people of quality and excellence for Kingdom impact (Inspiration, Master Plan, Prayer, Attitude, Connection, and Teamwork) Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20). We are committed to fulfilling our mission together through prayer, the help of the Holy Spirit, teaching and preaching the Word of God, generous donations, partnering with other churches, and old-fashioned hard work as we apply the following principles.

Honoring God with our very best is an essential quality of Christian living. Through all of our ministry programming and campus facilities, we strive to display excellence in all things to the glory of God. Great care is taken to ensure a wonderful, worship environment in every area of ministry.

Evangelism

Discovery Chapel exists to reach those in our neighborhoods and around the world who have yet to come to faith in Jesus Christ. Our church programming, services and ministry models all point toward sharing the message of the Gospel with individuals and families. In every Worship Service, a public invitation is given to allow people to respond to this clear message of hope and eternal promise. We also provide multiple opportunities to invite unbelieving friends and family members to hear the Gospel. Every member of Discovery Chapel is challenged to share their faith daily at work, school, social settings, and other areas.

Engagement

The joyful responsibility of every member of Discovery Chapel includes fully engaging in the life of the church. We ask and expect our members to faithfully volunteer in multiple areas of church ministry. We believe that every member has a financial responsibility to support the work of Christ on earth through the Church. By participating in each of these areas of service, a member will experience the fullness of this church fellowship.

Seek God

We are committed to seeking God’s guidance first and foremost in every decision we make- whether large or small. We are committed to seeking His presence wholeheartedly during or Worship Services and in everything else we do (Matthew 6:33; Jeremiah 29:13).

Share Christ

We are committed to following Jesus’ final command-to go into all the world and share the Gospel. We commit to sharing our never-ending faith in Him with excellence (Matthew 28:19).

Serve People

We are committed to making a difference in the world by serving people. We demonstrate the love of Christ by showing our love for people and serving them where we can.
